Recyclables - Blue Bag
Collected every second week – alternating with clear Garbage bags.
- Metals: aluminum foil, bottles and cans, pots and pans
- Paper and Cardboard: boxes, newspaper, paper coffee cups
- Plastics: hard plastic packaging, bottles, milk and juice jugs
- Food and Beverage Cartons: milk, juice, soup, broth, plant based beverages, etc.
- Others: electronics, styrofoam, frozen juice cans and lids
Tips and Tricks
Pizza Boxes
Remove any crusts or leftover cheese and place the box in the blue Recyclables bag and the paper in the clear Garbage bag.
Food Containers
Empty and quickly rinse metal and plastic containers with cold water; it only takes a second or two. As long as nothing will leak, drip or spill out onto the rest of your recyclables, it’s clean enough for us!
Aluminum
Scrape off excess food and fold or crumple the dirty side in.
Garbage - Clear Bag
Collected every second week – alternating with blue Recyclables bags.
- Household: cat litter, vacuum bags, toys, dryer lint, clothing and linens
- Bathroom: wipes, cotton balls, diapers, disposable razors, Q-tips
- Kitchen: chip bags, single-serve coffee pods, plastic wrap, scouring pads, wrappers

Diapers and Pet Waste
They are preferred in the clear Garbage bag, but may go in the green Organics bag on weeks the clear Garbage bags are not collected.
Ropes, Cables, Wire
To prevent mechanical sorting equipment from becoming entangled and breaking, place these items in the clear Garbage bag.
Soft Plastic
Any soft plastic like cereal or cracker bags, chip and snack bags, stretch wrap/film, soft plastic packaging, plastic wrap, cheese and sandwich meat packaging all belong in the clear Garbage bag.
Organics - Green Bag
Collected every week.
- Food: food scraps, coffee filters and grounds, bones, egg shells, tea bags
- Yard Waste: grass clippings, leaves, sawdust and wood chips
- Others: napkins, paper towels, tissue, tobacco

Orange and Paper Bags
Although we prefer green bags, orange and paper bags can be used for leaves and yard waste only.
Compostable Bags
These bags can be used for Organics curbside if they’re certified under ASTM D 6400 or CAN/BNQ 0017-088 and have both of the following logos visible on the bags:

Curbside Pickup
Eco360 is responsible for the collection of curbside waste in the majority of the Southeast and the proper disposal of solid waste for even more. Click here to see the contact information for waste collection inquiries (pickup schedules, special or bulky item collection days, issues, etc.).
Large Waste & Bulky Items
Large waste and bulky items like household appliances, furniture, large electronics, large toys, etc., are not suitable for your regular household waste. You can dispose of one item a week, alongside your clear bags. Alternatively, you can dispose of these materials at Eco360’s Solid Waste Facility (see fees), or at our Mobile Eco-Depot (see calendar).
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW)
Southeast Eco360 will safely dispose of your Household Hazardous Waste free of charge at our on-site HHW Depot or through our Mobile Eco-Depot program. HHW can be dropped off at the Depot in Berry Mills for free during regular operating hours (location and hours can be found here). Please refer to our Sorting Guide for acceptable HHW materials. Southeast Eco360 does not dispose of industrial, commercial or institutional hazardous waste.
For residents looking to get rid of their batteries, they can bring them to our Mobile Eco-Depot, our on-site HHW Depot, or to various drop-off locations throughout Southeastern NB.

CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION WASTE
Construction and demolition waste is material that has been obtained during the construction, renovation or demolition of a building or structure. Properly sorted construction, demolition and renovation waste may be disposed of at our secure C&D site for a reduced tipping fee. This would include such materials as:

• Gyproc & drywall
• Windows
• Concrete & bricks
• Toilets & plumbing fixtures
